Book a day giveaway

Greetings Young Adult Book lovers!  (Can I call you YABL for short?  It sort of sounds like babble and rabble so it's definitely a teen descriptive word.)

I signed up for Kathy's blog hop to meet more YABL as I am a YABL myself.  In fact, I've written 19 books and most of them are YAB. (I'm refraining from making a yabba dabba doo joke here, because contrary to popular belief, I do have a modicum of pride.) Instead, I'll say that most of my books are romantic comedies, although the CJ Hill ones have more action in them.  Guns, bad guys, maybe a time machine or a dragon or two--but always a hot guy. I have my standards.

So anyway I'll be giving away a hardback copy of My Double Life here--but wait, there's more.  Since I have a new book coming out August 28--Erasing Time, under my pen name CJ Hill,  I'm about to embark on my usual pre-launch book-a-day giveaway on both of my blogs. (I also have one at http://www.cjhillbooks.blogspot.com)

That giveaway officially starts Aug 10th, so come back to both blogs--your chances of winning are good. That said, I'll only ship to the US or Canada. People outside can enter and if they win I'll send them a choice of my ebooks Blue Eyes and Other Teenage Hazards or Playing the Field

For a chance to win My Double Life, leave a comment telling me what you wish your double life was.

Following the blog earns you an extra shot at winning.

Good luck fellow YABL!

If I had a double life, I would be a famous rockstar - not only in my own country but also around the world. And the I would spend peaceful time home with my friends and family and maybe write poems and books :)

YABL is cute, that should be okay. Hmmm... a double life...well, I wanted to be a tough-ass spy while living as a preschool teacher. Not so awesome, eh?! :D

My double life would be... Can it be something really, really exciting like getting paid to sit around all day long and read YABs, eat pizza, and generally be a sloth? Because if so, that would definitely be it.

Oh, and I already follow your blog because you're just so shiny.

I definitely follow the blog. And I agree with Heecaroo, I'd love to be a famous back-up singer in a folk band somewhere else, so I could have privacy here, too :)

If I had a double life, it would have to be as an FBI agent that traveled constantly and carried a gun. I would also be in shape, since I wouldn't have any kids. I'm jealous of my double me.

I'm a follower :) And if I had a double life ... I'd want to be in the circus! Is that weird? I've always wished I was that talented as the Cirque de Soleil people (also, I have no idea how to spell that ...)

Being a Mom, my double life would be as some crazy mad scientist with a secret lab under my house. Or maybe that is just a retreat for when I need to escape =).

Can't wait to read and review these books...whether I win or not, these are a must have for my shelves!

I wish that my double life was that I was a famous actress/singer or a spy. Then I could come home and have a normal life in my hometown and write about my adventures.
How do I follow your blog? I'm following it via Google Reader. Does that count?

If I had a double life, I would be a private consultant for the government to help track down criminals...the go-to girl when everything seems hopeless. I would secretly be the genius behind the world and have the power to start wars and end empires while living in my comfortable abode posing as a nanny! Now all I need are the brains to do it!

If I could have a "double life". . .I'd like to be a character in a Jane Austen book. It's completely unrealistic. . .but, that's what makes it appealing :)

My double life would be that I was a princess in a castle and everyone did what I said. But the castle is modern day, so I'll still have the works.

I follow your blog. Your books are perfect for a YABL like me. Some of my favorites!

Oh, and I have a question. Does it matter if more than one family member from the same household enters all these contests to win? I have four other sisters that follow your blog and love your books, and they would like a chance to win one too.

If the comment was suppose to be left here instead of goodreads.com.

For my double life I am hopelessly confuse till I realized that i already have a double life but the fake mask I always wear turned in to the real(most seen)me while the real me can't come out so I would want to be a more beautiful and confident me able to express myself.

But if you need a particular answer a rich girl that cared truly and not just for publicity or maybe an actress to get through hidden emotions in a sensible way that people can later enjoy when they watch it,but not be demanding and rude who can always put on a fake smile to entertain instead be me inside and out.So my double life leans toward expressing how I am and also in my double life i will make me and everyone else happy if both groups weren't than it would be no different than being me in one sense of the way. Even if I don't win if people read this and understand any thing like this about themselves I am happy.

I think I wold want my double life to be someone who is rich, who has money, and who's opinion matters in what is going on in the world, the complete opposite of who I am. But only for a short time because I would miss me. And I think that much responsibility would get old really fast.

Emily said...

I kinda wish that my double life would be the opposite of what I am now. I wanna have some more money because we're in a kinda rough state right now and I wish that we could have a really nice little house with a white picket gate in a nice little neighborhood.(: Followed via GFC too!
